DR. SARASWATHY SUBRAMANIAN

DR. Saraswathy is the Director of the Shine Child Therapy Centre (SCTC). She is a Speech Therapist and a team leader, working with children in the spectrum in Malaysia for 15 years now. She has the visions to build an organization to truly live out the missions of helping parents and children with autism to access opportunities to achieve transformational results in their lives.

In her 15 years of career advancement, Saraswathy has built and led successful group of well experienced people and now managing centres in two different locations – Seremban 2 (HQ) in Negeri Sembilan and Setia Alam (Branch) in Selangor.

Prior to founding SCTC in 2016, she was involved in creating and delivering awareness with the Perwira My Autism Team (an NGO) as a President. Currently, she is successfully helping children with autism to achieve their brightest future at SCTC. She is delighted to help families and children of all ages.

Dr. Saraswathy has some solid educational background, she possesses a Bachelor of Speech Science (Hons) from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (2006-2010), Advanced Diploma in Special Education Needs and Learning Disabilities from Open University Malaysia (2017-2018), Master of Education majoring in Psychology from Asia e University (2019-2021). Ph.D in Developmental Psychology – Child and Adolescent Development from Brampton International University Canada (2022-2024). She is also a certified Cognitive Behavioral Practitioner and a IBCCES Certified Autism Specialist from International Board of Credentialing. 

Currently, she is managing her time working with families and therapists under SCTC, and also doing online coaching for teachers and parents primarily in PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and Behavior Management.
